The Houston Sauce Pit is the city’s first 100% Vegan BBQ food Truck! The traveling new twist on Texas Barbecue is the brainchild of Texas BBQ Sauce masters Jarrett Milton and
Courtney Lindsey, owners of the popular Houston Sauce Co., who introduced H-Town to their all natural specialty BBQ sauce line 2017, and wanted to created a healthier, meatless version of Texas BBQ favorites.
Barbecue lovers looking for vegan choices and the vegan-curious.

The Vegan BBQ Truck can be found Tuesday-Sunday at 5000 Almeda Rd., and also roams around the city, appearing at different locations each week.
We are also available for private events.

100% VEGAN BBQ
The Houston Sauce Pit Truck houses its own smoker and features a full menu of fresh hand-crafted meatless barbecue dishes from the Loaded Brisket Mac (bed of mac & cheese topped with vegan brisket) to a Smoked Link Loaded Mash (traditional mashed potatoes topper with smoked Beyond Meat sausage links, BBQ sauce and green onions), along with Vegan Sausage, Vegan Wings, BBQ “Sammiches” and sides like Mac N’ Cheese, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and BBQ Smoked Loaded Elote (corn on the cob)!
